Words really cannot describe how I feel about the kids of Kalihi — to be included as part of their ohana, and to feel some kind of validation that simply being a human being for 35 years on this Earth is enough to contribute to the future — simply by giving part of myself. And even though I am leaving as Program Coordinator, the kids have given me something that I will cherish forever: the hope that there is hope. I would like to thank Mike Orbito for this amazing video that will stand as a testament to the kids of Kalihi — forever.
